While thsi object was still mentioned at the PCCP of the minor planet center, i used a remote telescope to observe this object and confirm the cometary appearance, later on 28 oct. this object was assigned as comet C/2017 S8 (PANSTARRS) via CBET 4447.  Data and image can you find via link: comet C/2017 S8 (PANSTARRS)
