comet and spectroscopic observations on 18 april

A clear evening after the clouds disappeared and I had the opportunity to observe some comets, unfortunately with occasional technical problems (cable that got stuck behind an obstacle and stopped the mount): 117P, 409P, 413P, C/2021 A1. With the LHiResIII spectroscope and C11 telescope some spectra of Be stars could be recorded: BK Cam, HD 24479, HD 174237, HD 195554, HD 175863.

The forecasts were for a full night of clear weather, so I let the 0.4-m f/3.8 newton observe comets all night and at the same time recorded some spectra of Be stars with the C11 and LHiResIII spectrograph: 7P, 9P (not detected), 99P, 117P, 156P, C/2017 K2, C/2018 N2, C/2020 R4, C/2020 S8, C/2020 T2, C/2020 V2, C/2021A1, C/2021C3, also an object ZTF0Kij was listed on the PCCP and could be detected as a ‘possible’ comet.

spectroscopic and comet observations on 12 april

A clear and moonless night promises to be a good night for observing. I started with comet observations, a long list to observe until the morning, unfortunately at 1 am local time clouds came in and I had to stop the observations. Comets that were observed are: 9P (uncertain due near star), 99P, 162P, 409P (clouds), C/2020 T2, C/2021 A1, C/2021 A2. With the C11 and spectrograph I could observe 2 spectra: V801 Cas and gam Cas (HeI detail @ 6678Å), each > 1 hour observation per Be-star.
