BRIXIIS Observatory activities

The clouds drifted away and I could observe for several hours. On the agenda for spectral observations: nova Cas 2021 (V1405 Cas), gam Cas for h-alpha and gam Cas for HeI @6678Å. With the 0.4-m f/3.8 newton telescope, i could obtain several comet observations: 29P, 156P, C/2019 L3, C/2020 T2, C/2021 A2.

Finally, another clear, cold night so that we could observe again. With the 0.4-m f/3.8 newton telescope I was able to observe a number of comets, unfortunately after a few hours I had problems communicating with the CCD camera and the PC and had to stop the observations. Comets wich could observed are: 29P, 156P, 160P (not found), C/2020 M3, C/2021 A2 and object C4V28F2 mentioned on the PCCP, but could not be finished due to technical problems. With the C11 and LHiResIII spectrograph some high resolution spectra of following stars could be obtained: gam Cas (H-alpha detail, gam Cas (He-I detail @ 6478 Å), 53 Boo, HD 22298, phi Leo.

It promises to be another beautiful clear night without a disturbing moon. I was able to observe some rather faint comets: 29P, 135P (not found), 141P, 173P, 415P, C/2020 M3, C/2020 U4, C/2021 C3. Also some high resolution spectra, in H-alpha region, of following stars were obtained: V743 Mon, PZ Gem, OT Gem, HD 50820, Phecda, Bet Mon A.

it promises to be a clear night with cold temperatures (-4°C) I could observe several comets: 29P, 84P, 135P (not detected/near star), 141P, 398P, C/2019 L3, C/2020 N1, C/2021 A2. A high resolution spectrum was also obtained for several Be stars: V695 Mon, Pleione, Electra, HD 47054, 10 Cas, 69 Ori.

a nice clear evening! after taking new skyflats with the Orion Optics AG 16 Newton telescope, I started observing some comets: 29P, 156P, 141P , C/2019 L3, P/2020 U2, C/2021 A2, C/2021 A4. With the C11 + LHiResIII spectrograph i could obtain spectra of following stars: zet Tau, V1165 Tau, HD 22780, HD20017, 6 Cep.
