BRIXIIS Observatory activities

the observation conditions were not very good, but I did start observing some comets + possible new comet reported on the PCCP of the minorplanet centre. comets that have been observed: 29P, C/2020 T4 , new object A10t3ha could be detected and report sent to CBAT and MPC. Later on Dec. 9, this object was assigned as comet P/2020 X1 (ATLAS). High resolution spectra were also taken from the following Be stars: pi Aqr, 28 Cyg, gam Cas (HeI-detail @ 6678Å), 48 Per, V378 And.

During a short period of open skies, I was able to observe comet 29P and obtain 1 spectrum of Be-star 120 Tau. Afterwards clouds reappeared and closed the observatories.

They had predicted a nice clear sky and it came true. SQM-zenit was 18.7. I could observe several comets: 11P, 29P, 36P, 141P, 156P, 173P, 391P (not detected), 397P, C/2019 L3, C/2019 T3, C/2019 Y5 (not detected), C/2020 M3, C/2020 N2. A number of Be-star spectra were also recorded, these are: gam Cas (HeI @ 6678Å), gam Cas (H-alpha), zet Tau, V442 And, HD 22780, 28 Ori, 25 Ori.

Despite the high humidity and lunar phase of 0.98, I was able to observe some comets until suddenly a thick fog came up. Comets that were observed: 29P, C/2017 K2, C/2019 L3, C/2019 U6. With the C11 + LHiResIII spectrograph, i was able to record the following spectra: gam Cas (HeI), gam Cas (H-alpha), HD 217050, lam Cyg.

Although the weather forecast predicted clouds, at intervals it was clear with sometimes some cirrius clouds. With these clear periods I was able to observe 3 comets: 11P, 29P, 156P. spectroscopic observations were also made: gam Cas (HeI @ 6678Å), gam Cas (H-alpha), V442 And.
