BRIXIIS Observatory activities

clear night but high clouds were coming in after about 1 hour of observations. comet which are observed in this short period are: C/2019 Y1 (ATLAS) and C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS). spectroscopic observations for H-alpha detail of Be-stars: psi Per, Phecda, HD 112028, 6 Cep.

During this clear night i could observe 3 comets: 88P, C/2019 Y1 and C/2019 Y4 . Also i could obtain 3 spectra of Be-stars for H-alpha detail in high resolution (R=15000). Be-stars which are observed are: V447 Aur, HD 208682 and cx Dra.

2 comets are observed during this clear sky, but with some windghusts. comet C/2019 Y1 (ATLAS) en comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS). also 2 Be stars are observed with LHiResIII spectrograph.: V801 Cas and 17 sex.

a nice clear sky, but unfortunately a lot of wind with gusts up to 60 km/h. I tried to observe some comets, but unfortunately I had to stop at 1 comet because of problems with the mounting/telescope due to the gusts of wind. The mount went into safety because of too much deviation and then stopped. I was only able to observe comet C/2019 Y1 (ATLAS). With the C11 and LHiResIII spectrograph, this is less of a problem because it is mounted in a slit dome. So the wind has less chance to disturb the observations. Two spectra of Be starren were recorded: CQ Uma (HD 119213) and z Her (HD 162732). Each time 1 hour was recorded with 3 x 1200 sec. exposures.

2 comets were observed during this evening with a clear sky. comets are: C/2019 Y1 (ATLAS) and C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS). Also spectroscopic observations of Be-stars for the H-alpha detail in high resolution ( R=15.000). Be stars are: Alfirk , BK Cam, 4 Her.

observation of 2 comet as follow-up: C/2017 T2, C/2019 Y4. with C11 and LHiResIII 2 Be stars are observed: HD 16732 and HD 65873

Initially there was quite a lot of cloud cover and no ideal conditions to observe, around 23h local time, it was better and the high clouds slowly disappeared. SQM went to 19.15 which is very good in my area. Two comets were observed C/2017 T2 and C/2019 Y4. With the spectroscope 3 Be stars were observed: Cap Dra, HD 20134 and eps Cas. I made also an update of the Af(rho) plot of comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) and put it on my website.

beautiful clear sky, it is very exceptional that we have a long row of clear nights in succession. 4 comets were observed: 88P, 124P, C/2017 T2, C/2019 Y4. spectroscopic observations of the following Be stars were made: tet CBR, HD 53416, CQ Uma.
