This evening started well with a nice clear sky, but after an hour of observations, clouds floated in and unfortunately the observations had to be stopped. Two comets were observed with the 0.4-m f/3.8 newton: C/2017 T2 and C/2019 Y4. With the C11 and spectrograph 2 spectra were captured 53 Boo and HD 50658.
comet and spectroscopic observations on 11 april
the observation conditions are quite good with an SQM of 19.0 (which is already very good for my observation site) with the 0.4-m f/3.8 newton telescope some comets were observed : 10P, 246P, C/2017 T2, C/2019 Y4. With the C11 a number of spectra were simultaneously recorded with the LHiResIII spectrograph: phi Leo, HD 50763 and 53 Boo.
observation comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) on 10 april
comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) was again observed to see if we can observe any other fragments and whether or not it will disintegrate completely.
observation of comets on 9 april
despite the full moon, i observed comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) and could see the extra condensation on my images like other amateur astronomers all over the world. Also other comets are observed like: C/2017 T2 (PANSTARRS), C/2019 N1, 124P
comet and spectroscopic observations on 8 april
the eyes of the comet observers are all focused on comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS). The observation conditions are not optimal due to the disturbing moonlight and humidity in the air. Some comets were observed, among them: C/2017 T2, C/2019 N1, C/2019 Y4, C/2020 A2. With the C11 and LHiResIII spectrograph, some Be stars were observed for the H-alpha area in higher resolution (R=15,000): V801 Cas, 1107 Cam, HD 24479, HD38010.
New comet C/2020 F5 (MASTER) observation
With a remote telescope of the Telescope.Live facilities in Chile, i could obtain images of the new comet which is issued on 8 april 2020 via CBET 4746 and assigned as comet C/2020 F5 (MASTER).
comet and spectroscopic observations on 7 april
the observation conditions are pretty bad, veil cloudy and full moon. Still I tried to observe comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) and follow it further. Also with the C11 and LHiresIII spectrograph a spectrum of a more bright Be-star was obtained. After that, the cloud cover increased and observation was no longer possible.
comet observation on 6 april
After the departure of the clouds I observed comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS), this comet certainly needs to be followed.
comet and spectroscopic observations on 5 april
not really a very transparent sky and a lunar phase of more than 90% and SQM 17.9, does not give really good observational conditions. I have observed some comets: 87P, 88P, 246P, C/2017 T2, C/2019 N1, C/2019 Y4. With the C11 telescope and the LHiResIII high resolution spectrograph, I observed some Be-stars for detail around H-alpha area: QY Gem, HD 175511, HD 23552
comet and spectroscopic observations on 4 april 2020
more or less a clear night with moonphase 85% and SQM in zenit of 17.9, o observed 2 coemts: C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) and C/2017 T2 (PANSTARRS), also simultanously i observed 3 Be-stars for obtaining High-resolution spectra in H-alpha region with LHiResIII with 2400 l/mm grating
