As first light i choose Cepheïde variable star X Cygni, a star with magnitude between 6.4 and 7.5.
comet and spectroscopic observation in night 17/18 aug. 2018
some cirrus clouds are in the sky, but i started with the observations of comets and see what happen further during night. comets that are observed are: 21P/G-Z, 29P/S-W, 37P, 38P, 46P, 64P, 78P, 137P, 200P (not detected), C/2017 K2, C/2017 K4, C/2017 M4, C/2017 M5, C/2018 KJ3, P/2018 L4 (not detected).
As spectroscopic observation i obtained a high resolution H-alpha detail of lam Cyg with the L200 spectrograph with 1800 l/mm on a C11 telescope.
comet 21P/G-Z with remote telescope
I decided to use a remote telescope from the itelescope.net network in New- Mexico to observe comet 21P/G-Z on 14 aug.
comet 21P on 13 august
The weather of this evening of 13 aug. was rain and clouds, but about 23h local time, the rain was gone and stars are visivbel, not a very transparant sky, but i started with observing of comet 21P/G-Z. Also this evening i could see several bright and nice Perseïds, also the alls-ky could catch a very bright one in the South
comet & spectroscopic observations on 8 aug. 2018
comet observations and spectroscopic observations during night 6/7 aug. 2018
comet and spectroscopic observation on 5/6 aug. 2018
comets that are observed during night of 5/6 aug. are: 21P/G-Z, 29P/S-W1, 59P, 78P, 137P, C/2014 OE4, C/2017 K2, C/2017 M4, C/2018 M1 and an object A107IQ9 mentioned on the PCCP as possible comet. As spectroscopic observation was Be-star: lam Cygni observed, also tried to observe a pulsating star X Cygni for a observing project.
comet observations during night 3/4 aug. 2018
during night of 3/4 aug. several comets aree observed as follow-up: 21P/G-Z, 29P/S-W1, 78P, 129P (not found), 137P, 213P (not Found), C/2014 OE4, C/2017 K2, C/2017 M4, C/2018 M1
comet & spectroscopic observations of 2 aug.2018
during this night several comets are observed: 21P/G-Z, 29P/S-W1, 78P, 129P (not detected), 137P, 213P (not detected), C/2014 OE4, C/2017 K2, C/2017 M4, C/2017 S3, C2018 M1>.
as spectroscopic observations (high resolution H-alpha detail) where some Be-stars selected: Omi And, lam Cyg & phi And with resolving power of about 10.000.
observations of 1 aug. 2018
what would initially be a nice clear night is turned out differently, after about an hour I had to stop the observations due to incoming cloud fields. I could observe the following comets: 21P/G-Z, C/2014 OE4 & C/2017 M4, and recorded the following spectra of 2 Be stars: Alfirk & 28 Cyg.
