comet and spectroscopic observations on 25 nov.

the evening and night looks promising, with a very good transparancy and SQM of 19.2 … 19.5 , which is pretty good for my surrounding, i could observe some comets and could obtain some spectra of Be-stars in high resolution (R ~15000) of the H-alpha region. unfortunately, i had to struggle with some technical problems. Apparently the sensor of my CCD camera was suffering from dew formation. the high relative humidity of 89% will also be involved. However, after 2 hours, problem was partially solved and I could finally start observing comets. comets that could be observed are: 22P, 29P, 44P, 61P, 127P, 196P, C/2020 F5, C/2020 U5, C/2021 T4, C/2021 Y1, C/2022 L2. Spectra could be obtained of Be-stars: zet Tau, V581 Per, V442 And, PZ Gem, Pleione, HD 18552.

comet and spectroscopic observations on 13 nov.

after a very nice day we have a clear night, with some little fog and lower transparancy and SQM about 18.9 in zenit. I could observe several comets with my 0.4-m f/3.8 newton telescope: 22P, 44P, 61P, 196P, C/2020 F5 (not detected), C/2020 H6, C/2020 U5, C/2022 E3, C/2022 L2 and an object mentioned on the PCCP. With the second setup, C11-cassegrain + LHiRess-III spectrograph, i could obtain several spectra in H-alpha region in high resolution (R~15000): PZ Gem, pi Aqr, bet Psc, 16 Peg and 8 Lac-B.

weatherconditions are a clear night but with low transparancy, SQM in zenit was about 19.0. comet that could be observed with the 0.4-m f/3.8 corrected newton (OO AG16) are: 22P, 61P, C/2020 F5, C/2020 H6, C/2020 U5, C/2022 E3 and C/2022 L2. With my second setup of C11-cassegrain + LHiRess III spectrograph (2400 l/mm grating) i could obtaine a spectra of H-alpha region of Be-stars: V442 And, omi And , 14 Lac.

comet and spectroscopic observations on 2 oct. 2022

it was a nice clear evening after the clouds cleared. The moon phase was 0.49 but quite low on the horizon. I noticed on the SQM meter reading 19.45, normally i can get about 19.3. I have never seen this here in my backyard. Could the energy crisis be in between for something that lights get extinguished more ? Anyway… i started with some comets including: 22P, 61P, 285P, 286P, 395P, C/2019 O3, C/2020 H6, C/2020 F5, C/2022 E3, C/2022 L2. With my 2-nd setup C11-telescope and the LHiRess high-resolution spectrograph, I was able to record some Be stars a spectra. These are: V378 And, HD21620, 16 Peg and 31 Peg.
