after a rainy day, later in the evening we got a short clear sky. I could obtain some spectra of following Be-Stars: HD 24479, pi Aqr, omi And, Menkhib, kap Dra, PZGem.
comet 29P/S-W on 2 nov. with remote telescope
i observed comet 29P/S-W for details inside the coma, with a 0.5-m remote telescope in Namibia with pixelresolution of 0.54 arcsec.
new comet P/2021 U3 (Attard-Maury) on 28 oct.
while an object listed on the PCCP, I observed this object with my Orion Optics AG16 0.4-m f/3.8 telescope on the night of 27/28 oct and was able to detect it. Later on Nov. 2, this object was assigned as comet P/2021 U3 (Attard-Maury) via CBET 5064 and MPEC 2021-V21
new comet C/2021 T4 (LEMMON) on 11 oct.
after an object, newly listed on the PCCP, I observed this with a 0.61-m f/6.5 telescope from Telescope.Live in Chile, and could possibly be a comet because of a small elongated coma of 9 arcsec. After this was reported to the minorplanetcenter and other observations, this object was catalogued as a comet as C/2021 T4 (LEMMON) via MPEC 2021-U187 issued on oct. 28
spectroscopic observations on 28 oct.
during this clear night i could catch some spectra of following Be-stars: lam Eri, HD 196712, HD20017, FF Cam, AX Mon, PZ Gem. i couldn’t observe comets due huge problems with mount and CCD-camera.
comet and spectroscopic observations on 27 oct.
after a very nice day without clouds an 17 degr. temperature, i could start early in hte evening with observations of comets and spectra of Be-stars. comets that could be observed are: 4P, 10P, 17P, 28P, 29P, 67P, 102P (not found), 104P, 132P, 402P (not found), C/2017 K2, C/2019 O3, C/2019 U5, C/2020 K1, C/2020 PV6, C/2021 D2, C/2021 E3, C/2021 Q3, C/2019 LD2 and a possible comet mentioned on the PCCP and could be detected. With the LHires and C11 telescope i could obtain several spectra of Be-stars, which are: V2119 Cyg, V1466 Aql, V1339 Aql, V 813 Cas, AB Aur, PZ Gem.
spectroscopic observation 24/25 oct.
after clouds where gone i could obtain a spectrum of PZ Gem for e short time of 40 min.
comet and spectroscopic observations on 24 oct.
After a very beautiful sunny day, the trend continued for a clear night. I therefore observed both comets and could obtain spectra. Unfortunately around 1 am – local time – during the night, I had to stop the observing due to clouds drifting in and a possible chance of rain.
Comets that i could observe are: 104P, 132P, 186P(not found), 324P(not found), A/2019 O2, C/2017 K2, C/2019 K7, C/2019 T3, C/2019 U5, C/2020 PV6, C/2021 K1, C/2021 E3, C/2021 O3. With the C11 and LHiResS spectrograph i could obtain high resolution spectra of: PZ Gem, V581 Per, V423 Lac, tet Ari, psi Per, pi Aqr, omi And, bet Psc, 18 Gem.
spectroscopic observation on 23/24 oct.
during this clear night with disturbing moon, i could obtain a spectrum of PZ Gem for a student project of univ. of Amsterdam (Netherlands). exposure-time: 7 x 1200 sec.
spectroscopic observations on 21 oct.
After a storm, clear skies came with occasional clouds. I was still able to record some spectra of some Be stars: 48 Per, V777 Cas, PZ Gem.
