a very clear night with very good transparancy, SQM was here 19.36, which is exceptional for this area on 8 km from Antwerp city. I observed 3 comets: C/2017 T2, C/2019 Y1 and C/2019 N1. Also object C2PJ842 mentioned on the PCCP as possible comet, i could detect this object (magn. 20.0). Unfortunately it was not possible for observing C/2019 Y4 due this comet was behind the trees of my neighboors. Also some spectra could taken of Be-stars: cx Dra, Alfirk, 25 Cyg and 28 Cyg
comet and spectroscopic observations on 6 may
comets that could be observed during this short night: C/2017 T2, C/2019 Y1, C/2019 Y4. With C11 + LHiResIII 2 spectra could be obtained: CQ Uma, 4 Her.
comet and spectroscopic observations on 5 may
This evening was again a clear evening/night and i started at 22:30h local time to observe comets and Be stars with the spectroscope LHiRes III. comets which are observed are: C/2017 T2, C/2019 Y1, C/2019 Y4, C/2020 B2 (not detected). also remote observations with the S9 observatory UGent with the e-shel spectrograph, a test of the limit of the instrument by taken a spectrum of the core of M81 galaxy (about magn. 7)
comet observations of new comet on 5 may
With a remote telescope of the Telescope Live network, i could observe a new comet C/2020 J1 (SONEAR) with a 0.61-m f/6.5 telescope in Chile.
comet and spectroscopic observations on 4 may
this evening i could observe 2 comet: C/2019 Y1 and C/2017 T2. Also i could obtain spectra of 2 Be-stars: kap Dra, 53 Bootes . Also we could as team of the workgroup spectroscopy , observe with the S9 observatory of Univ. Ghent to obtain spectra with a eshel spectrograph.
comet and spectroscopic observations on 2 may
comet observations on 1 may
during a vey short period of clear sky between the clouds, i could observe comet C/2019 Y1.
comet observations on 26 april
During this clear evening, i could observe some comets: C/2017 T2 (PANSTARSS), C/2019 Y1 (ATLAS), C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS)
comet and spectroscopic observations on 25 april
we have a really exceptional period here in terms of the number of clear nights, barely seen in my period as an amateur astronomer. Another nice clear night and some comets observed, these are: C/2017 T2 (PANSTARRS) , C/2019 Y1 (ATLAS), C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS), 87P, and P/2019 Y2 (FULS). Also spectra were obtained with the C11 and LHiResIII spectrograph with 2400 l/mm grating (h-alpha detail). Observed stars: HD 208682, HD 195554, HD 79066 and eps Cas.
